Somethings not right!?! When you free up the exhaust your boost will definetely drop. Did you make any other mods at the same time?

Maybe SCHybrid actually has a turbo and only THINKS he has a supercharger...
That does seem strange that your boost would go up though... I'm gonna have to think about this until I get a really bad headache...

im telling you ladies,im hitting 12 psi now,
heres the brealdown:
i used to have dc header 4-2-1,2 inch exhaust, and cam gears set at (0 exhaust,-2 intake).
now I have kamikaze header,full 3" exhaust,(+5 exhaust,+4 intake).
I ran it last night at the track and with the clucth slipping at 2nd and 3rd gear, I still pulled off a 109 mph pass.
this car screams like crazy from 5000 up.
In first gear,it goes from 5000-8100 in like hundreds of a second.
i cant believe how much power its making now,its unbelievable.
im putting a new clutchmasters 4 on it this weekend and running it at the track next week with my slicks to see what i can hit.

What pully combo are you running? Well we can def. see you increase in manifold pressure is from the cam timing but what I would really like to know is if your settings are dyno proven? I would really like to see what your torque curve looks like with that kind of cam timing..

i had it on a dyno before and he had the cams set at 0,exhaust -2 intake.
i left the cam gears alone for a long time, until i decided to do some tuning myself, and it pulls much better than with the old cam settings for sure.
the guy who dynoed it didnt try that many combinations with the cam gears, he did maybe 3 or 4 and that was it.i live in miami ,and getting good service down here, as far as performance,is not so good.
i test it by myself and at the track.
don't you think 109 mph with a slipping clutch is pretty good so far.
i think your right about the manifold pressure being soo high because of the cam settings, thats a good theory.
thanks...
im going to try some more cam settings, but i dont think ill go + or - 6 in either direction.

Yeah, my SC peaked at 12 psi when it was installed and run on the dyno. I think once the SC has some time put on it, the psi will go down a little. I'm still hitting between 9-10 psi.

By the way, for all the nonbelievers out there. I also have 3" Thermal exhaust and Kamikaze header with a 2.5" collector.

What pulley size are you guy running? Stepper pulley and 3.6, 3.4, 3.8 and Stepper?? The cam gear settings have alot todo with the pressure seen in the head but I don't really understand what 1994GSRFL is trying to say. SC Hybrid has had his blower for a good amount of time so I am sure it has "Time put in". Depending on the pulley combo you are using, if you set those gears to 0,0 you will see the correct "estimated" boost levels, but we have to remember that not only the exhaust restricitons effect the pressures we see, the head characteristics play a big part too.
